Requirements:
Seasonal
Mushroom (available during monsoons)
Onions
Tomatoes
Chiles
(Green&Red)
Tumeric
powder
Cumin
seeds
Dry
kokum
Salt.
Preparation:
Wash
a portion of mushrooms thoroughly (they are muddy) in running tap water.
Tip:-
use a soft tooth brush.
Break
or make strips of the mushrooms. Keep aside.
Cut
2/3 large tomatoes into one inch pieces.
Cut
green chillies into one inch long pieces.
Slice
6/7 large onions into halves and then cut them long.
Fry
tomatoes and chillies together till it turns into paste.
Then
add onions and stir fry.
Add
mushrooms to it and keep stirring as it will release its juice.
Now
add salt, turmeric powder and cumin seeds and let it boil for a minute.
Add
8 to 10 pieces of dry kokum and if required dry red chillies.
Let
it boil for half a minute. Switch off the gas and cover it.
